What We Haul and How Junk Removal Works
Junk Star Hauling clears unwanted stuff out of homes, garages, yards, rentals and businesses across Ocala and Marion County. You point at what needs to go, we carry it out, load the truck, sweep the area, and haul it off. You get the price before any work starts.
What we take
Most of what fills a garage, spare room or back yard is fair game. If you are not sure about a specific item, send us a photo and we will tell you straight away.
- Furniture: couches, recliners, dressers, bed frames, mattresses, office desks
- Appliances: refrigerators, washers, dryers, stoves, water heaters
- Household clutter: boxes, clothes, toys, books, holiday decorations
- Yard material: limbs, palm fronds, brush, fence panels, old landscape timber
- Remodel debris: cabinets, countertops, drywall, flooring, tile, lumber
- Outdoor items: grills, hot tubs, above-ground pools, sheds, play sets
- Electronics and scrap metal
What we cannot take
Florida rules keep a short list off our truck. We do not haul paint and solvents, motor oil, fuel, pesticides, propane tanks, asbestos, medical waste or ammunition. If you have any of those, we will point you to the Marion County household hazardous waste drop-off so the rest of the job can still go ahead.
How pricing works
Junk removal is priced by the space your items take up in the truck, plus the labor to get them out. A single recliner from a driveway costs far less than a two-story house full of furniture. Stairs, long carries and heavy material like tile or dirt affect the price, and we tell you about that before we lift anything, not after.
Ask for a free estimate over the phone or send photos through the estimate form and we will give you a number without a site visit for most jobs.
How fast we can get there
Ocala, Belleview, Silver Springs Shores, Marion Oaks and Summerfield are close to home base, so same-day and next-day pickups are usually possible. Outlying areas like Reddick, Anthony and Ocklawaha are almost always next-day. Call 352-613-1552 and we will tell you the first open slot on the schedule.
Next steps
Once you know what needs to go, how a load is priced shows what sets your number and how it works covers the visit itself. Most of our work is junk removal in Ocala, and the common questions page answers the rest.
FAQ
Junk Removal questions
Do I have to move anything to the curb first?
No. We come inside, upstairs, into the garage or around the back and carry everything out ourselves. Moving items yourself does not lower the price, so save your back.
Do you charge for the estimate?
No. Estimates are free, whether we quote from photos or come look at the job in person.
How do I know the price before you start?
We look at the load, quote a firm price, and only start once you say yes. If the job turns out smaller than expected, you pay the smaller amount.
