A garage cleanout is one of the most satisfying jobs we do, because the before and after is so obvious: you go from squeezing sideways past stacked boxes to parking inside again.
Central Florida humidity is hard on anything stored in a garage, so a lot of what we haul is past saving.
Boxes that have been taped shut since the last move
Broken lawn mowers, trimmers, pressure washers and yard tools
Old paint-free construction leftovers: lumber, tile, fencing, screening
Bikes, exercise equipment and outgrown kids gear
Water-damaged furniture and mildewed cardboard
Scrap metal, old shelving and dead appliances
You decide what stays
We sort as we go with you rather than clearing blind. Point at the pile that goes and the shelf that stays. If you need a hand deciding, we will hold anything questionable to one side until the end so you can look at it on a clear floor.
Chemicals and fuel
Old paint cans, gas cans, pool chemicals and pesticides cannot go on our truck. Set them aside and take them to the Marion County household hazardous waste facility — they accept those items from residents. Everything else in the garage we can handle.
Sweep out included
We finish by sweeping the slab. Most garages come out looking better than the customer expected, which is usually the moment people start talking about parking in it again.
