Shed Removal in Ocala, FL
A rotting or leaning shed is a liability: it holds water, houses wildlife, and drags down the look of an otherwise good yard. We tear it down, haul it off, and leave the spot clean.
Sheds we take down
- Wood sheds and barn-style buildings with rotted framing or floors
- Metal sheds that have rusted through or blown out of square
- Resin and plastic sheds that have gone brittle in the Florida sun
- Collapsed or storm-damaged buildings
- Carports, awnings and lean-to structures
- Old playhouses, chicken coops and dog kennels
Emptied first
Most sheds we visit are still full of yard equipment, boxes and stored junk. We can clear the contents and demolish the building in one visit — just flag anything inside you want kept, and set aside fuel cans, pesticides and pool chemicals since those have to go to Marion County hazardous waste rather than on our truck.
Wildlife and rot
Old sheds in Central Florida are prime real estate for wasps, snakes, rodents and the occasional armadillo living underneath. We expect that and work accordingly. Rotten floors get taken apart rather than walked on.
What is left afterwards
We haul the structure, the floor, the debris and the contents, then rake the area. Concrete pads and pavers can also be broken out and removed if you want the spot fully cleared — mention it in the estimate so it is in the price.
FAQ
Shed Removal questions
Do you need a permit to remove a shed?
Small accessory structures usually do not, but rules differ between Marion County and city limits, and HOAs have their own. Check with your permitting office if the shed is large or on a slab; we will work around whatever it needs.
Can you clear out what is inside too?
Yes, contents and structure in one visit. Just keep fuel and chemicals aside for county hazardous waste.
Will you take out the concrete pad?
Yes, that can be added. Concrete is heavy so it is priced separately — tell us up front and it will be in your quote.
